Viva Las Vegas!

The modern rooms at the Flamingo... I had to take a picture of the bathroom because I loved the fact there was a tv in the mirror!

Forum shops at Ceasar's

The Star Trek experience (hubby is a fan)

Here are some digital layouts I did from our last vacation before we became a family of four! I was actually pregnant with my son at the time and we were in Vegas during a major heatwave. I still remember having a bit of morning sickness still when we first arrived! Anyway, despite the heat it was a great getaway!

A Few Favourite Digital Layouts

Since I haven't been down in my scrap room much since the flood (I don't have the new floor in yet), I don't have any new projects to share, so I thought I'd post more digital layouts. Here are a few of my favourites. The photos are of Paige when she was just one year old (she is now three). Time goes by way too fast!

Halloween Digital Layouts

Paige deciding what character to choose for her pumpkin (she chose Uniqua from the Backyardigans).

Trick or Treat!!

Since the fall is fast approaching, and Halloween will be here before you know it, I thought I would share some Halloween digital layouts that I completed last year. These pictures were from my daughter Paige's second Halloween. I prefer traditional scrapbooking, but I do like to make digital layouts sometimes too since it is so much faster, and I don't always have the time for traditional scrapbooking.

New Blog Look

I have been trying out a million styles of backgrounds and headers for my blog tonight and so far, I like this combination the best. I think the cherries are pretty cute, but who knows, I might change it again soon! I never seem to keep the same design very long! :)

Baby Girl Board Book

Here is another older project I made, before I started my blog, so I'm finally posting it now! This was a gift for a co-worker who had her first baby, a little girl. She just turned one, so it was almost a year ago that I made this!
I enjoyed making this album. I used a plain board book and the patterned paper was from the Basic Grey Oh Baby Girl line (so cute!) I also got a lot of use out of my New Arrivals Cricut cartridge on this particular project. I'm sure this album is now full of adorable baby photos!

Halloween Album

Since my scrapbook room was flooded last weekend, I haven't been able to get any crafting done this past week. In the meantime, I thought I'd post some older projects that I've made. Here is a Halloween scrapbook I made for my friend Chantal for last year's Fall/Halloween Challenge Swap on the Cricut messageboard. It was fun to make, and was the first project I made with my Bind-It-All.

My New Scrapbook Room Is Flooded

Today has been a crazy day. Our hot water heater burst and most of our basement was flooded, including my brand new scrapbook room. The restoration guys were already here this afternoon and tore out most of the floor and are coming back tomorrow to tear out the rest, which also means taking apart my cabinets. What a way to end my vacation!! I was supposed to be back to work tomorrow but I already called in because a lot will be going on here tomorrow and I'll want to be around if I have to empty all of my scrapping supplies. I took a picture of what my room looks like now. You can see the before pictures in my slideshow at the bottom of the page.

Friday Sketchers Challenge #63

Here is a card I made for this week's challenge at Friday Sketchers.  The stamped image and sentiment are from High Hopes stamps.  I just got these stamps today so I was anxious to use them!  I coloured the image with Copic markers.  The patterned paper is from MME and the cardstock is from my stash (I think it is all Bazzill).  I cut the branch with the Storybook Cricut cartridge.  I also used some yellow skittles.

My Favourite Cuttlebug Folder - Challenge #42 at The Cuttlebug Spot

Here is my entry for challenge #42 at The Cuttlebug Spot.  My favourite embossing folder is currently Swiss Dots (although this may change as more and more great new folders are released!)
For this card, the stamped image is from CC Designs and I coloured the image with Copic markers.  All patterned paper is from Stampin' Up and the red cardstock was embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The black ribbon and the flower are also from Stampin' Up.  I just realized how much Stampin' Up product I used in this card, which is rather ironic since I'm a CTMH consultant!!  I really love both company's products though!
This was the first time I tried using a sketch for a card.  This card was based on last week's sketch from Friday Sketchers.
